The Hospital
Our clinic is adjacent to SSM Health – St. Clare Hospital, a 27-bed facility equipped with a 24-hour Level 3 Trauma Center, full lab and pathology services, and a 6-bed ICU supported by UW e-ICU telemedicine. The hospital handles about 300 deliveries per year and has 24/7 hospitalist coverage.

Job Summary
In this role, you will collaborate with physician colleagues to provide advanced nursing care to patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, treatment planning, prescribing medications, and facilitating patient transitions between healthcare settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
Prescribe appropriate treatments and interventions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Respond to patient and staff requests promptly
Develop and implement patient care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make referrals as needed
Provide education and support to patients and families
Promote positive health behaviors and self-care skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a focus on advanced practice nursing
Board certification in the appropriate population focus
Current RN and APRN licenses
At least one year of nursing experience
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of speech, vision, and hearing
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and patient movement
- Constant use of fine motor skills for data entry and clinical procedures
