Who We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
CNO Membership: Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or at least 1 year of experience working in nursing stations within remote communities.
Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
Additional Certifications:
Candidates must have or be willing to obtain the following certifications:
Federal Security Screening: Required for all placements. NORDIK will assist you through the process.
CPR/BLS: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and Basic Life Support certification.
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
ITLS: International Trauma Life Support certification.
WHMIS: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System certification.
EPIC: Education Program for Immunization Competencies certification.
